First Fatima Holy Hour
Saturday, May 13th ~ 8:00 PM US Eastern Time

Candle-Lighting for Reparation ~ Marian Hymn ~ Fatima Reading & Prayer ~ Joyful mysteries of the Holy Rosary ~ Litany of our lady of fatima ~ Prayer for World Peace ~ Closing Hymn

Our Holy Hour will begin with a Candle-Lighting for Reparation to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.  The candle will remain lit for the duration of the Holy Hour.  Our Lady will see all our little lights from Heaven and know that there is love for her on earth....that we empathize with all her sorrows, especially for the outrage against the unborn.  We will then sing a hymn to her and tell the story of the events on that particular day in the life of the three children.  Prayers given to the children from on high will be said.  We will then pray the Mysteries of the Rosary associated with that day of the week.  Litany to follow, along with the Nomen Christi Apostolate Prayer for World Peace.  We conclude with a closing hymn and the candle can be extinguished.

You may wish to print out the format after it is posted on the Holy Hour day, so everyone in your group may easily follow along.  Also, please comment on our blog-tell us where you are from, your thoughts and prayer intentions.  We will be celebrating the Holy Hour on the 13th of each month, from May to October.  This is the day Our Lady appeared to the three children for six consecutive months in 1917, culminating with the great Miracle of the Sun, seen by thousands.  We will begin at 8:00 PM US Eastern Time (7 CT, 6 MT, 5 PT).  If you are elsewhere in the world, please feel free to join us at that time or use our format at a time convenient for you.  This is not a video or live chat.  It is a format for you to perform, either in the home or in church with pastoral permission.  Holy Hours will be posted by 9:00 AM ET and comments will remain open for 24 hours.

If you would like email reminders each month, please contact us at director@nomenchristi.org.  We also really need help to spread the word, so please email this info to your friends or whatever else you can do.

Let's fill the world with light and prayer on this great 100th Anniversary of Fatima!

One more thing, looking ahead.....

What special gift can we give Our Lady to celebrate the final Anniversary of the Miracle of the Sun on October 13th?  Please meditate on this-what gift would you like to give?  It could be something very simple, like placing flowers at her statue or something more elaborate, like organizing with your pastor, an investiture in the Brown Scapular.  It could be a craft, a sacrifice, praying at an abortion clinic...anything you wish as long as its from the heart...and please share it with us in the comments!

Nomen Christi Apostolate is a Roman Catholic ministry in formation, which is loyal to the Holy Father, Pope Francis.  We are undergoing a complete re-design of the website and also the structure of the ministry.  This will take some time to iron out all the details and what we really need from you right now is PRAYER!

Our mission is to discover the essence of an authentic Catholic culture and to assist Holy Church in disaster preparedness and sustainable living.  We would like to see parish gardens and emergency supplies established.  Also, a re-thinking of the traditional food pantry.

If this interests you, no matter where you are in the world, please contact us at director@nomenchristi.org and let's put our heads together unto the salvation of souls!

to be holy is this:

to see the sage in the smallest child

to see the dancer in the lame

to hear the great orator in the silence of the mute

to see the visionary in the blind

to see the saint in the sinner

“Here’s to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes, the ones who see things differently.  They’re not fond of rules.  You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can’t do is ignore them because they change things.  They push the human race forward and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius, because the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world,

are the ones who do.”
